Introduction to Sødisbakke

We have the capacity for 135 citizens, with a staff of just under 550 people working across our six care and activity departments and four service departments.

Over the years, Sødisbakke has participated in several Gentle Teaching Conferences around the globe. Our experience is that we always return home with new and useful inspiration.

Now it is our turn to contribute. That is why Sødisbakke will host the Gentle Teaching International Conference 2025, and we are looking forward to welcoming you to our small nation in the north.

Gentle Teaching at Sødisbakke

Our employees’ work with Gentle Teaching has made a huge difference at Sødisbakke over the past 17 years. 

However, to meet the political demands in Denmark, we have increasingly become aware that we need to build a solid professional argument to explain why Gentle Teaching works and ultimately, how it creates well-being among our citizens.

That is why we have begun a process of adapting Gentle Teaching to Sødisbakke 2025.
